San Diego Jewish Academy packs up supplies to send to Haiti
San Diego, Calif. - A local school is doing its part to help quake victims in Haiti.
The San Diego Jewish Academy in Torrey Hills picked up more than 1,000 boxes of supplies collected as part of Project Haiti.
The school principal and project organizer estimates the school collected $80,000 to $100,000 worth of medical supplies.
The supplies will now be shipped to Haiti and distributed to the areas most in need.
