Drunken Man Breaks into Wis. Store to Nap

A 6-foot-5-inch man wearing a kilt was arrested in Racine, Wis. after breaking into a Main St. store so he could sleep there after a St. Patrick's Day parade, The Racine Journal Times reported Tuesday.

A woman called police at 7:20 p.m. Saturday after seeing a kilted man kick in the window of the store's front door.

Officer Ryan Comstock responded to the scene where he found Dustin Nelson, 24, asleep on the ground, The Journal Times said.

According to Comstock's police report he requested Nelson, who he described as dazed, to show him his hands - which Nelson did.

"He then flipped me off and just laid there," the police report said.

The police summary added a "very intoxicated" Nelson "broke into store to take a nap."

Nelson was arrested and charged with misdemeanor criminal damage to property.
