Big Red Slide Makes Subway Commute Easier

A Volkswagen publicity stunt recently gave commuters a chance to speed it up in a Berlin subway.

Earlier this month, Volkswagen's "Fun Theory" team set up a giant red slide next to the escalators inside Alexanderplatz station. National Geographic Traveler's blog intelligent travel said the more uninhabited travelers chose to take the "Fast Lane."

DesignTaxi.com said that Volkswagen dedicated the "Fast Lane" "to everyone who loves to go beyond the regular, who is curious for new stuff and who simply enjoys to speed it all up a little."

Volkswagen also said that the scheme showed that people would voluntarily change their behavior for the better if they have a fun way to do it, reported Newslite.tv .

This follows another subway stunt in which Volkswagen turned a stairway into a giant foot-activated piano.
