New York - Espada still drawing healthy salary

New York - It's business as usual at Pedro Espada's scandal-plagued Bronx health-care centers.

The state senator, soon to be out of office, is still drawing his $287,000-a-year salary and perks likely to total tens of thousands more, a source said.

State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo charged Espada in April with using the Soundview Health Center as a "personal piggy bank," submitting bills for such expenses as $20,000 in sushi deliveries.

Criminal charges may come as soon as next month, the source said.

Soundview hasn't filed tax forms detailing Espada's compensation since 2007. And the 2007 form said he received zero compensation -- despite a statement from the center's CFO to The Post that said his boss earned more than $450,000.
