Stamp prices increase

The price of a first-class postal stamp is now 45-cents. The Postal Service raised the price by a penny -- the first increase in more than two years.

Postage for postcards increased to 32-cents and letters to Canada or Mexico now cost 85-cents.

Forever stamps are still valid and they're always equal in value to the current first-class mail one-ounce rate.
