NY Aquarium Welcomes Baby Penguin

New York Aquarium recently welcomed a baby penguin into the fold.
The black-footed penguin chick was born in February.

She's the first black-footed penguin to hatch at the aquarium in 15 years.

Aquarium officials said this type of penguin is endangered, which is why its birth is so significant.

The aquarium is home to 16 penguins, who can be seen in their outdoor exhibit year-round, thriving in all temperatures.
