Authorities Search For Man Who Pointed Gun At Police Officer in Bedford-Stuyvesant


Police are looking for a man they say pointed a gun at an officer in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn early this morning.

Investigators say the officer answered a call of shots fired near the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins Avenues around 2 a.m.

That is when they say the suspected shooter pointed his gun at the officer.

Police say the officer fired back but missed the man, who took off.

Another person who was hit in the leg during the earlier shooting was taken to Kings County Hospital.
