Connecticut primary voters can use app to find polls
Connecticut - Primary voters who are uncertain where to cast their
ballots can use a new computer application to get the location.
Secretary of the State Denise Merrill on Monday unveiled
a new, free polling place locator on her office's website at www.sots.ct.gov.
Voters can type in their addresses and find their polling places and directions
from their homes.
Registered Republicans and Democrats will go to the polls
Tuesday to choose their party's candidates in the November general election for
the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and state legislative seats.
Merrill said she expects voter turnout will be around 30
percent.
Her office will open a hotline to respond to potential
problems at the polls. The number is 1-866-SEEC-INFO.
