Democrat claims most re-tweeted message of GOP convention
The most re-distributed tweet of the Republican National
Convention came from a Democrat.
A representative of Twitter said Sunday that President
Barack Obama’s message rebuffing Clint Eastwood’s speech was the most
re-tweeted message of the GOP event.

Eastwood's speech came the same night Mitt Romney
accepted the Republican presidential nomination in Tampa, Florida. The
legendary actor and director posed questions to an empty chair, which he said
represented Obama.
The sprawling, off-the-cuff address drew criticism from
some, who said Eastwood's unorthodox remarks overshadowed Romney.
The Twitter representative, Rachael Horwitz, said
Thursday’s Obama tweet was the president’s second most re-tweeted since he began
using the social media network, after a message announcing his support of
same-sex marriage in May.
