Labor Day Closures And Changes In Service For New York City
In observance of Labor Day, there will be several
closures or suspensions of service.
All city, state and federal offices are closed on Mon.,
Sept. 3.
MTA subways and buses will operate on a Sunday schedule.
Due to FASTRACK, there will be no No. 4 service from 42nd St.-Grand Central to
Atlantic Av.-Barclays Ctr after 10 p.m. on Labor Day.
Labor Day is also a bank holiday so all branches and U.S.
financial markets are closed.
The Brooklyn Public Library, including all local
branches, will be closed until Tuesday.
There will be no mail delivery and all post offices will
be closed.
Alternate side parking rules will also be suspended on
Labor Day.
