Port Authority sues AT&T over phone line
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has dialed
up a lawsuit against AT&T.
The agency claims it was charged hundreds of thousands of
dollars for a phone line that didn't work.
The line runs between John F. Kennedy International
Airport's control tower and a New Jersey Coast Guard facility.
A Port Authority audit found it was out of service for at
least six years.
However, the phone company kept sending bills for more
than $10,000 per month.
AT&T claims it didn't do anything wrong.
