A Jewish politician from Brazil said he would sue a colleague for suggesting he was a Nazi. Isaac Tayah, president of the city council of Manaus, said he would file charges in a federal court for racism, libel and defamation, according to A Critica, a Brazilian news site.

The next Olympics may appear far in the distant future, but Carlos Arthur Nuzman, president of the Brazilian Olympic Committee, is hard at work preparing for the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. A Brazilian woman has given birth to conjoined twins with one body and two heads. The boys have been named Jesus and Emanuel. Obstetrician Dr. Neila Dahas of the Santa Casa de Misericodia Hospital in the city of Belem says the twins were born Monday by Cesarean section ( see the twins' picture ). Each boy has his own brain and spinal cord, but they share all other organs, including the heart, lungs and liver, Dahas said on the hospital's website. She said one of the boys is having respiratory problems and requires "special care."

Iran, Brazil and Turkey signed an agreement on Monday over a nuclear fuel swap designed to allay international concern over the Islamic Republic's atomic ambitions and avert fresh sanctions on Tehran.

Israeli tourist Itai Ben-David, who went missing in Brazil's Isla Grande area on Wednesday, was found in good health Saturday evening. On Thursday the Phoenix insurance company sent a team of five to search Ben-David.

Hilik Magnos, who heads the team, told Ynet Ben-David left his girlfriend behind Wednesday morning and departed on a short day hike, but never returned. "When he hadn't returned for a few hours she called local rescue services, which have been searching for him since yesterday," Magnos said. "We will leave tonight to try to find him."
