German authorities say they are tightening security measures after discovering a neo-Nazi network inside the country's prisons. The network, which was used to try and organize financial help for far-right convicts and their relatives, was discovered in the state of Hesse after evidence was uncovered during a search of prison cells.

Internet giant Amazon said Monday that it has fired a German security firm following reports that temporary staff at one of its logistics centers in Germany were unfairly treated by security staff with alleged neo-Nazi links. Hensel European Security Services's (HESS) methods were the subject of a documentary last week by the German TV channel ARD, which used secret filming to establish how the firm harassed and intimidated foreign workers and also how some of its military-style employees appeared to have far-right allegiances.

The Greek neo-Nazi Golden Dawn Party has questioned the country marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, calling it “unacceptable.” In a question posed in the Greek Parliament last week, Golden Dawn lawmaker Ioannis Lagos asked the Education and Interior ministers why state institutions and schools where commemorating Jan. 27th.

More than 900 police officers raided homes and clubhouses of suspected neo-Nazis in a crackdown in a western German state on Thursday, seizing far-right propaganda material, computer hard drives and a wide variety of weapons, the region’s top security official said. The raids to collect evidence came after North Rhine-Westphalia state interior minister Ralf Jaeger banned three local neo-Nazi groups.

They call it "rahowa" - short for racial holy war - and they are preparing for it by joining the ranks of the world's fiercest fighting machine, the US military. White supremacists, neo-Nazis and skinhead groups encourage followers to enlist in the Army and Marine Corps to acquire the skills to overthrow what some call the ZOG - the Zionist Occupation Government. Neo-Nazis planning to march through the town of Bad Nenndorf had to set off on foot earlier than expected, after demonstrators blocked their train – and at least one driver of the replacement bus service refused to take them. Around 700 people from the area gathered to show their opposition to the march, while more than 200 left-wing activists chained themselves to the station platform, delaying the arrival of the neo-Nazis’ train by more than an hour.

A German Olympic rower who left the London games prematurely has denied claims her boyfriend is a neo-Nazi and insisted she will continue in the sport. The allegation last week prompted Nadja Drygalla (23) to depart the Olympic village on Friday having already completed her participation in the games.

The German Olympic Committee said Drygalla, who had already finished competing at the Games as part of the women's rowing eight team, left of her own accord after a 90-minute conversation German officials. "Miss Drygalla confirmed credibly her commitment to the Olympic Charter," the head of Germany's committee Michael Vesper said. "She is leaving the Olympic Village so as not to be a burden for the team."

A neo-Nazi Website in Hungary is offering money for information about protesters that called for the arrest of a suspected war criminal, it emerged on Sunday. Kuruc.info promised 100,000 Forints ($450) to anyone who provided data on demonstrators who called for trial of suspected Nazi collaborator Laszlo Csatary outside his house near Budapest last week.

Pawel Bromson grew up in Poland where he and his skinhead friends sometimes roamed the streets of Warsaw, terrorizing Jewish, Arab and black children. On one occasion, he and his mates boarded a train to Auschwitz and vandalized the former concentration camp. They hurled insults at staff members, telling them “the genocide should have been bigger.” Bromson and his peers were suspicious of outsiders and disliked Jews, whom they blamed for Poland’s economic troubles under the Communist regime.

A Missouri National Guardsman accused of proclaiming himself a neo-Nazi has been fired from his state job as a member of a military honor guard that appears at veterans' funerals of veterans.     Former co-workers of Nathan Wooten filed complaints nearly a year ago claiming he had a portrait of Adolf Hitler in his living room, had tried to recruit others to the cause and had named his son after a notorious leader of the German SS, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. The Post-Dispatch was about to publish a story about the state's lack of action when a guard spokeswoman, Maj. Tammy Spicer, notified the newspaper Friday that Wooten had been fired from his full-time state position with the funeral program as a result of an investigation into a variety of complaints.

Runnin' Scared wrote about a series of photos chronicling a group of neo-Nazis in Greenpoint. As one would expect, the photos, which Gawker broke, have gone viral, and were featured in the Daily Mail, prompting the Daily News to ask: Are there Nazis in Brooklyn? Runnin' Scared has recently learned that these polemic pics are at least two years old.

A local photographer who published pictures of some young, Polish, neo-Nazis living in Brooklyn abruptly pulled the photos from his website Wednesday. "I want to keep a low profile," Adam Krause told PIX 11, when we contacted him, shortly after the pictures were featured in a story in London's "Daily Mail". The series of photos show young white guys, some of them sitting in front of flags with swastikas. Some have their faces covered with bandanas, while one of them poses at the Greenpoint piers, wearing a warm-up jacket with Polska printed on it, across the river from the Empire State Building in Manhattan.

Prague - There are some 4000 militant neo-Nazis in the Czech Republic, including a 400-strong hard core, and a part of them pose a latent risk of switching to terrorism, experts focusing on extremism say in a study worked out for the Interior Ministry and released on the its website today. The neo-Nazi scene poses a permanent threat in terms of crime, including violent crime. The number of individual attacks on Romanies is expected to rise in the country in the next five years, says the study completed by a team led by political scientist Miroslav Mares.

It is at once a deeply-rooted Polish neighbourhood with industrial roots where immigrants still speak in their native tongue on the streets. At the same time, Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighbourhood is a fast-gentrifying area of New York full of young families and working professionals who wish to live close to Manhattan. But the northernmost neighbourhood in Brooklyn is also home to a group of Polish neo-Nazis, who walk the streets, just like anybody else, and are fiercely proud of their beliefs.

Sacramento - Two CHP officers were hurt by protesters at competing rallies at the State Capitol Monday that started with aNeo-Nazievent. Extra CHP and Sacramento Police officers were called in to separate the two groups, who are getting louder and more violent toward each other. A group of self-proclaimed white supremacists organized a nationwide protest Monday for part of an effort they call the “South Africa Project.” According to the project’s website, http://southafricaproject.info, they want to stop the alleged “genocide of whites” in South Africa.

The German soccer team Kaiserslautern has reported a group of fans to police for allegedly giving Nazi salutes to an Israeli player. The struggling Bundesliga club says the salutes toward striker Itay Shechter were made during practice Sunday, one day after a 4-0 loss at Mainz dropped Kaiserslautern to next to last.

The hunt is on for a Berlin police officer who was pictured on Facebook giving a Nazi salute, sparking outrage across Germany. The image, which officials believe to be genuine, was posted on the social networking site to mark a remembrance day for the victims of a series of neo-Nazi murders.     Police fear a Nazi-sympathiser movement may be developing within the ranks as the man is wearing what appears to be an authentic uniform with the Berlin police badge on the right arm.

As Germany prepares to commemorate the 10 victims of the killing spree committed by the NSU neo-Nazi group, a former extremist has warned that more potential terrorists are lurking in the far-right scene, which he claims is well-organized and ready to resort to bombing attacks in its goal of creating a "Fourth Reich".     Gabriel Landgraf, 34, a former neo-Nazi from Berlin, says the German far-right scene has long contained potential terrorists with the same militant goals as the so-called Zwickau cell, the trio discovered by chance last November after murdering 10 people since 2000.
