Bear On The Loose Postpones NJ Fireworks Display

While coyotes are causing a scare in New York, it's a bear creating an uproar in New Jersey.

Fourth of July festivities in West Milford are being postponed because of an aggressive bear on the loose.

Fish and Wildlife officials are looking for a bear that charged and attacked a hiker and his dog last week.

If caught, the animal will be euthanized.

The fireworks event, originally scheduled for Friday, will instead be held on July 9.
