Israeli Government to Protect Chabad Houses

This year, like every year, thousands of Israeli tourists across the globe will celebrate Pesach with Chabad, especially in the Far East.

Chabad Info has learned that recently the Israeli government organization responsible for fighting terror has taken the responsibility for the safety of its citizens abroad and as a result will be securing Chabad Houses it feels are under threat during Pesach.

This decision was reached primarily because of the attack on the Mumbai Chabad Hosue over a year ago and the more recent threats on the Pune Chabad House.

Minor earthquake rattles Los Angeles

Seismologists say a mild earthquake widely felt throughout Southern California was centered along the coast west of downtown Los Angeles. The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-3.8 quake struck at 3:18 a.m. Wednesday. The epicenter was 2 miles east-southeast of Marina del Rey near Culver City and Inglewood.
